Abstract: The output of the solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays is not constant throughout the day. It varies with time. Output change with the climatic condition, it varies in summer winter and rainy season. So we cannot get the maximum output all the time. This paper discuss the factor that effect solar PV performance in different environment condition and location of PV module. These factors may be orientation of the PV module, tracking the sun, temperature of PV module, incidence/tilt angle of the PV panel, shading of the panel, mounting rooftop material, mounting height, solar irradiance, type of PV module, and dust on module. Above said are some important factor that significantly affects the performance of solar photovoltaic cells. So need to be discussed.

Keywords: Solar PV panel characteristics, Performance, factor affecting.
