Satellite Image Processing Using SVM Classifier and ELBP-ML Features: A Review
Riya Chourasiya, Prof. Shailesh Khaparkar
Abstract: Satellite images in course of capturing and transmitting are frequently degraded due to image effects or uncertain conditions. These effects introduce different noise patterns such as, Additive White Gaussian Noise, Salt & Pepper Noise and Mixed Noise. Therefore, retrieved images are highly noise corrupted because the image contents are more attenuated or amplified. The selection of optimum Image Processing and filtering technique depends to have knowledge about the characteristics of degrading system and noise pattern in an image. In this paper, Machine learning model used with components Support vector machine (SVM) Classifier and Extended Local Binary Patterns (ELBP) is used for Image Processing from highly noise corrupted images. The implementation of proposed methodology is being carried out by estimating the noise patterns of wireless image through configuring System Identification with SVM Classifier. Then, these estimated noise patterns are eliminated by configuring Signal Processing with SVM algorithm. The Processing of satellite images are done on basis new proposed ELBP Processing techniques.

Abstract: With drastic increase in population, automation is becoming the need of the hour in order to make life more comfortable and easy. Due to the advancement and development in the field of automation and embedded system, the notion of smart car has become very popular. Smart cars are modernizing trends in the traditional automobile industry. Companies across the globe have been investing a huge amount of resources on the production and design of smart cars. Every technological development needs to overcome certain obstacles, and hence, in this paper, a design of a collision detection system for smart car using light fidelity (Li-Fi) and ultrasonic sensor on the Microcontroller platform is proposed. This design consists of an ultrasonic sensor and a Li-Fi circuit. The ultrasonic is used for measurement of distance between vehicles, and Microcontroller processes the data and makes de collision accordingly. Data transmission between vehicles is ensued using a Li-Fi transmitter circuit and a Li-Fi receiver circuit. The transmitter circuit is mounted on the tail lights of the leading car and the receiver circuit is mounted on the front side of the car that follows. Using visible light communication, the transmitter circuit transmits the calculated speed and the information is received by the receiver circuit of the second car. On the basis of the information received, the speed of the second car is changed in order to avoid collision. In this paper, a system that can detect and thus avoid collision between vehicles and prevent accidents is proposed and studied.
Abstract: Smart farming and precision agriculture involve the integration of advanced technologies into existing farming practices in order to increase production efficiency and the quality of agricultural products. As an added benefit, they also improve the quality of life for farm workers by reducing heavy labor and tedious tasks. Replacing human labor with automation is a growing trend across multiple industries, and agriculture is no exception. Most aspects of farming are exceptionally labor-intensive, with much of that labor comprised of repetitive and standardized tasks an ideal niche for robotics and automation. Our proposed robot performing tasks ranging from planting and watering, to harvesting and collecting. Eventually, this new wave of smart equipment will make it possible to produce more and higher quality food with less man power. The core concept of incorporating autonomous robotics into agriculture remains the goal of reducing reliance on manual labor, while increasing efficiency, product yield and quality.

Abstract: This project gives an ability to track the boat location in the high sea and warn the fishermen if they cross their country's nautical boundary. This system enables the GPS module to track the location and use a vibration sensor to detect the abnormal wave networks. The data coming from sensors and GPS receiver is transmitted wirelessly using LORA module if the boat is heavily collapsed or crosses the country's nautical boundary. This system involves a GPS that keeps on tracking the location of the boat. When fishermen cross the boundary, they intimate the navy patrol about border crossing boats. The system also consists of an SOS switch for emergency call. The GPS, SOS switch and vibration sensor. Then the motor is stopped by using the motor control when they cross the boundary with navy intimation. If the boat is, collapse the buzzer and high beam LED indicate the emergency to the nearby boats for faster help.

Abstract: Here, propose Smart Helmet for Accident Prevention and Alcoholic Detection which automatically checks whether the person is wearing the helmet and has non- alcoholic breath while driving. Here we have a transmitter at the helmet and the receiver at the bike. There is a switch used to sure the wearing of helmet on the head. The ON condition of the switch ensures the placing of the helmet in proper manner. An alcohol sensor is placed near to the mouth of the driver in the helmet to detect the presence of alcohol. The data to be transferred is coded with RF encoder and transmitted through radio frequency transmitter. The receiver at the bike receives the data and decodes it through RF decoder. The engine should not ON if any of the two conditions is violated.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9505
Abstract: Rice has become one of the most important crops in Asian countries, so the detection of disease in rice crops is a must to increase production. These diseases are mainly caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi. We classified mainly three types of diseases such as brown spot, hispa, and leaf blast. In this study, we used Convolutional Neural Network to detect and classify the leaf disease in paddy crop. A CNN is a deep learning algorithm that takes an input image, allots values to various aspects that are present in the image, and differentiates from one another. Here AlexNet and LeNet algorithms are used to train and test the sample images of diseased as well as healthy rice crops. This model shows an accuracy of 97% which is quite high when compared to the existing model. In the existing model, the diseased parts of crops are detected using the pattern recognition method, in which some of the affected portions are left out where the leaf patterns are either unclear or not present. The proposed method examines the image row by column so that no affected spots are left out.

Abstract: Networking is a word that is used a lot nowadays: networking this, networking that. It’s almost used so much that the meaning is lost. The gist seems to be: it is something you should be doing and doing a lot. Networking is actually pretty simple, and yes, we agree that you should be doing it! You're familiar with social networks, right? You gain followers on Instagram and add friends on Snapchat. Networking, in the professional sense, is similar in that you're establishing connections with people typically in your field. These connections could be working professionals, experts, thought leaders, or even professors. The purpose of networking is to form relationships with those who'll help get you to where you want to go, and the earlier you start building up your network, the better. That's why it's important to start networking in college — before you're even ready to enter the workforce.

Abstract: Campus placement plays a vital role in every educational institution in helping students to achieve their goals. All students dream to obtain a job offer in their hands before they leave their college. In this paper, a predictive model is designed which can predict whether a student get placed or not. The main objective of this project is to analyze the student’s academics data, aptitude data and predict the placement possibilities of students to have an idea about where they stand and what to be done to obtain a good placement. Which also aids to increase the placement percentage of the institutions? The data has been collected by the institution for which prediction is going to be done and by applying suitable data pre-processing techniques. The model is built by both training and test set which gives accuracy in prediction. Here we use a single supervised machine learning algorithm named support vector machine algorithm. This algorithm independently predicts the results and we then compare the efficiency of the algorithm, which is based on the dataset. This model will help the placement cell to focus on the potential students and help them to improve their technical and other skills.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9508
Abstract: This paper reviews the use of Soft Computing Techniques for dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of mineral oil for power transformer fault diagnosis (PTFD). Various FLtechniques for PTFD have been developed to reduce operating costs, enhance operational reliability, and improve power and services supplied to customers. These techniques enable researchers to analyse fault phenomena and diagnose transformer faults, and these approaches have evolved rapidly as highly effective approaches for PTFD. Our conclusion is that no single DGA technique enables detection of the full range of faults, which is needed for reliable assessment of all power transformer conditions. Therefore, the most effective PTFD technique is to combine outputs from various DGA diagnostic methods and to aggregate them into an overall evaluation.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9510
Abstract: Super high resolution (SISR) images are a very hot topic in the field of image processing to convert a single low resolution (LR) image into a super high resolution (SR) image. As part of the real-time imaging function, the softedge reconstruction network is a CNN model that is used to directly reconstruct soft-edge images from LR images. The edge network technology works independently to achieve smooth image edge reconstruction, or subnets are implanted in each SR model to provide smooth front-end image edges to achieve high-quality SR image reconstruction. For super resolution, early researchers used traditional image processing methods. The proposed system is used to improve image unevenness based on the contrast distribution of the object and the edge of the object's detailed description can be found in the picture.

Abstract: A comprehensive mathematical modeling and control design for an isolated multi-port DC/DC converter for photovoltaic (PV) generation systems is discussed in this paper. The adopted converter is a modified flyback converter consisting of three ports, namely, a photovoltaic (PV) module input port, a bi-directional battery port, and an isolated output port. The output port is receiving its demanded power without any interruption, while the power extracted from the PV module is maximized adopting a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller. Moreover, to improve the overall efficiency of the system, synchronous rectification switches are used on the secondary side of the isolation transformer. Set of simulations using MATLAB/Simulink are done to show the effectiveness of the proposed converter under different operating conditions.

Abstract: As we all know, the forest is considered as one of the most important and essential resources and Forest fires represent a constant warning to ecological systems, infrastructure and environmental features of a community, forest fire detection is an extremely important issue in the pre-suppression process. Unfortunately, the forest fire is commonly observed when it spread over a large area, making its under our control and stoppage arduous, and often even nearly impossible. The issues with forest fires is that the forests are usually remote, abandoned or unmanaged areas full with trees, dry and parching wood, leaves etc, that act as a fuel source and which basically causes wide amount of disaster to nature. So, our idea behind this problem is to get the early detection of fire in the forest before it spreads to the entire forest. This paper highlights the powerful features as a potential solution to the challenge of early detection of forest fires. The device presented makes use of various sensors attached and wireless data transmission, to fulfil the task.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9514
Abstract: This paper focused is on dynamic response of wind power generation, nowadays wind generation is taken into account as alternate to traditional fuel power plants. It’s attracting more attention,as quite half this turbine capacity has been installed within the past the decades. A Maximum point Tracking (MPPT) control technique is presented for extracting the utmost power from the turbine. The high passive filter to extract the present harmonics with low stop frequency is in a position to compensate an unbalance load, but the dynamic response are going to be slow, for this reason, the Multi- Variable Filter (MVF) is in a position to compensate highly unbalance load without affecting the dynamic response of the system. The inverter allows full control of dc bus voltage regulatio n, and it acts as power transfer from the turbine to the grid and to the load. The MVF filter is employed to estimate a fundamental voltage source which provides excellent performance when the voltage source is distorted. This will be done through simulation and hardware under various values of the wind speed of the turbine .

Abstract: As of 2020-2021 is concerned, major problem the globe is facing is uncontrollable spread of Covid-19 Pandemic. Coronavirus is the new virus that has been identified in humans which is the cause of disease called COVID-19. Within no time the virus had spread all over the world and was declared as the Global Pandemic. The virus can easily pass from person to person which make it spread rapidly. To stop it’s spread it very important to detect it and also take as much as preventing measures possible like maintaining proper social distancing and avoid unnecessary touch on any surface and time to time sanitization of hands. One of the common and major symptom of Covid-19 is fever hence the human body temperature is one of the major parameter to detect the infection in the person, if the person is infected by corona virus the body temperature increases. Here we describe the design of automatic contactless temperature detector. This temperature would not include any human interference for measuring the temperature. The body temperature is automatically monitored and the alert message is generated if the person’s body temperature is high. We also discuss the design of Automatic contactless sanitizer dispenser, which will avoid the touching of sanitizer container and it will prevent the spread. Here we also design a robot that will be used to monitor whether the social distancing is maintained in the campus or not.

Abstract: Solar energy is most abundant energy source in the universe, PV technology is experiencing a rapid growth over the past few years. But abnormal conditions such as faults, low irradiance etc. lead to the reduction in the available output power from a photovoltaic array. To ensure performance and safety of the PV system, it is necessary to develop techniques that can efficiently localize the faults occurred. This paper presents a detection scheme for faults in the Solar system. If undetected, faults can considerably lower the output of solar systems, damage the panels, and potentially cause fire hazards. The presented fault detection scheme employs Multi-Resolution Signal Decomposition (MSD) technique and two machine learning algorithms namely Fuzzy Logic and K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) to classify the fault and determine its location. Simulation results verify the accuracy, reliability and scalability of the presented scheme.

Abstract: . In this paper a “Analysis of New Reduced Device Count MLI Using Different PWM Techniques”. Since Penetration of multilevel inverters (MLI) in to high power and medium voltage application has been increasing because of its advantages. . The invention of MLI led to the increase in power rating of the devices, as the number of output voltage levels also increased. Even though many MLI topologies have been proposed over the years the elementary concept of a multilevel inverter remains the same, i.e., to achieve higher power output using several series connected power semiconductor switches and multiple low valued DC sources. And DC to AC convertors are playing an important role in various medium and high power applications.
Abstract: The most common view of any construction site today is a set of scaffolds margined around the walls of the buildings with labourers hanging around those scaffolds struggling to reach here and there with a full stretch of their body. Also, most of the times the surrounding environments are very unhealthy that is almost an unbearable situation for the workers, forcing them either to quit or to welcome some deadly consequences to their health. The painting chemicals can cause hazards to the human painters such as eye and respiratory system problems. When construction workers and robots are properly integrated in building tasks, the whole construction process can be better managed and savings in human labour and timing are obtained as a consequence. In the proposed project we designed a prototype of an Automated Wall Painting/Designing Robot that works on the concept of image processing technique using LabVIEW Software. The proposed algorithm manage to function on both Normal Wall Painting and Interior Wall Designing.
Abstract: Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) are finding different applications for offshore exploration and ocean monitoring. In most of these applications, the network consists of significant number of sensor nodes deployed at different depths throughout the area of interest. The sensor nodes located at the sea bed cannot communicate directly with the nodes near the surface level; they require multi-hop communication assisted by appropriate routing scheme. However, this appropriateness depends not only on network resources and application requirements but also on environmental constraints. In our project, node location phase has proposed with the help of, a TOA (time of arrival)- based ranging strategy to reduce communication overhead and energy consumption. Then, after dimension reduction processing, the grey wolf optimizer (GWO) is used to find the optimal location of the secondary nodes with low location accuracy.

Abstract: The proposed system, solar powered charger (SPC) plays an important role in mobile charging during travelling. The sun is the ultimate power source and solar energy is renewable energy source. The SPC system is ecofriendly and user friendly. The solar panel used is of 12v rating. The voltage must be suitably step down. The simplest way to reduce the voltage of a DC supply is to use a linear regulator (such as a 7805), but linear regulators waste energy as they operate by dissipating excess power as heat. Buck converters, on the other hand, can be remarkably efficient (95% or higher for integrated circuits), making them useful for tasks such as converting the main voltage in a computer (4-5V in mobile phones, 12 V in a desktop, 12-24 V in a laptop) down to the 0.8-1.8 volts needed by the processor.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9556
Abstract: This work is concerned with the generation of solar power using MPPT with the help of modelling and also simulation of photovoltaic (PV) array interfaced with boost converter then supply it to the three-phase grid connected Voltage Source Converter (VSC). In present scenario solar energy is a sustainable and reliable renewable energy resource that is integrated into the main electrical supply grid with the use of power electronics converters. The VSC is connected to the grid with the help of a filter and transformer. VSC needs a dc link voltage across the shunt capacitor which is provided by the solar PV which behaves as a voltage source. An Incremental and Conductance (ICE) mechanism is used to achieve maximum power point (MPP) from the solar PV array. The Power generated from the solar PV is varying in nature due to varying solar insolation and temperature. So the VSC balance the magnitude of the grid voltage at PCC. Also to reduce the harmonics active LCL filter is used. The modelling of the system is simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK software.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9559
Abstract: Nowadays energy need depends majorly on conventional resources and since, these resources are limited in supply; and the demand is increasing significantly, the focus is shifted towards the non conventional energy resources. Wind energy is one of the most trusted technologies in terms of cost of electricity generation hence, Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) is deployed for meeting the needs. In this paper durability and control of hybrid Wind/Battery system has been investigated. The choice of hybridisation increases the efficiency of the system considering the intermittent nature of wind flow. This off grid system is highly needed in areas like coastal regions and isolated areas where transmission lines cannot be installed easily. To ensure controlled charging/discharging of battery, state of charge has been developed and the mechanical safety of the WECS has been assured by means of the pitch control technique. Both of these control strategies have been integrated and the efficacy has been validated by testing the system with various load and wind profiles in MATLAB/SIMULNIK.

Abstract: In this paper, one of the criteria to measure student learning outcomes is to ensure consistency. Generally, attendance at school or university is shown by calling your name or registration number to show your attendance in the register. Practice maintains a diary to track student and practice component usage. Either way it takes time and you have to work with more documents. As a result, educational institutions have begun to use biometrics-based student attendance grading systems such as wireless technology and fingerprint reading. Face recognition with RFID tags. In the current situation due to Covid-19 infection, fever check is very important for students to be able to attend the course. In addition to facial recognition, we brought up the idea that a temperature test was added to the attendance scoring system. The system is designed using an ultrasonic sensor, an infrared temperature sensor and a camera module that is interfaced with the Arduino. This way, at the time the automatic attendance is displayed, the system can scan each student to identify potential Covid-19 patients.

DOI: 10.17148/IJIREEICE.2021.9570
Abstract: Industrialisation is the transformation of agrarian society into an industrial society. Historically it is associated with growth in industries heavily dependent on fossil fuels which were often polluting; however, with the increasing focus on sustainable development most of the industries are looking for cleaner and renewable technologies. With an upward surge of power requirement, the demand for efficient inverters is pullulating as well. In this paper, asymmetrical cascaded multilevel H-bridge inverter (CHB MLI), one of the popular inverters is recced for its better output power quality, low power loss and implementation complexity, economic feasibility and relative advantages. A seven-level asymmetrical CHB MLI is used to improvise the output voltage spectrum. For the purpose, initially the system is tested in MATLAB/Simulink, then pulses are generated through pulses width modulation (PWM) technique using microcontroller and finally implemented in hardware after design and testing in Proteus ISIS. The hardware setups use MOSFETs as switching devices and low-cost PIC microcontrollers for generating the switching pulses via level shifted in-phase disposition pulse width modulation. Ultimately, the hardware outputs are verified with simulation results.
